Industry & Brand Reps are for guests who are presenting products like, guitars, accessories, cases, drums, and Luthier's.

PERFORMING GUEST GUIDELINES

(For artists performing music live on the show)

 

Overview of the Show

YenYorkCity Live is a casual, live podcast that runs up to 2 hours and is broken into loosely guided segments. While we prepare questions, the show is conversational and built around natural discussion.

The show is broadcast live, with recordings before and after the live segment for members-only content.

 

Live Performance Requirements

Performing guests are expected to play 2–3 songs live during the episode.

Performance flow:



Opening song: Played immediately after your introduction


Mid-show song: Played between discussion segments


Closing song: Played at the end of the show to transition into the raid



Important notes:



Songs must be original material or copyright-free covers


We must have the right to broadcast the music live


After the final song, there is no additional conversation, but please remain on the call until we give you a proper send-off



 

Pre-Show Arrival & Setup



Guests must be present in the Zoom call 30–60 minutes before show time


If you did not receive the zoom meeting link within the hour, contact us urgently.



 

Technical Requirements (Required)



Camera is required


Clear, stable audio is required


Reliable internet connection


Zoom must be installed



 

Music & Signal Chain Information (Required)

To ensure audio quality, performing guests must submit:



A list of instruments being used


Audio interface or mixer model


DAW or live rig (if applicable)


How audio will be routed to the show



This helps us understand technical limits and prepare appropriately.

5-minute pre-show music buffer while viewers join


15–20 minutes of host warm-up (you will be muted and off-camera)

Final Q&A and “12 Songs: The Soundtrack of Your Life”


Final performance to close the show



 

Live Stream Alerts & Twitch Culture

This is a live Twitch and YouTube broadcast.
At times, alerts will sound, especially during raids, which are a normal part of Twitch culture.

Anything beyond standard alerts will be discussed during pre-show recordings.

Cancellation Policy



Cancellations must be made 24–48 hours in advance


Must be communicated in writing to YenYorkCity@gmail.com


Late cancellations may forfeit rescheduling opportunities
