About the Show

YenYorkCity Live is a live, remote-based podcast focused on real conversations with musicians and music industry professionals working in rock and metal.

Episodes are streamed live and run up to two hours, allowing for in-depth discussion around creative process, touring, gear, business, and the realities of working in today’s music industry.

While the show is primarily remote, we are open to streaming from a guest’s studio or location when feasible and within reasonable travel distance.

Who We’re Looking For

We feature guests who are actively involved in the rock and metal music ecosystem and bring experience, insight, and perspective to the conversation.

Guest categories include (but are not limited to):

  • Rock and metal bands and musicians

  • Music industry leaders and decision-makers

  • Touring professionals

  • Business owners and founders within the music industry

We welcome both national and international guests.

To ensure the best experience for everyone involved:

  • This is not a platform for unsolicited demo submissions

  • Guest appearances are not guaranteed upon application

  • Guests who are selected through our standard application process do not pay to appear on YenYorkCity Live.

  • Some companies or brands may appear on the show as part of a paid sponsorship or advertising partnership. These appearances are arranged separately through our sponsorship process and are not connected to the guest application.

  • Applying to be a guest is free, and payment is never required for non-sponsor appearances.

  • Selected guests will be contacted directly with next steps

  • Scheduling is coordinated collaboratively based on availability
