Criteria:

• Streaming During Podcast: Guests are not to stream during the podcast. However, you can stream before the podcast and then raid in if you would like, as long as all audio is confirmed to be working and all information is completed before the show.

• Performing Musicians: Guests are to play 2–3 songs live (Copyright Free covers and/or originals. We must have the right to play these songs without any copywrite issues). One song to open the show, one song mid-stream, and one song to end. The last song is to take us out into the raid, and there will be no conversations after the last song. However, do not leave the call until we personally give you a proper send-off after the podcast ends.

• Non-Performing Musicians: If you have links to videos or clips you would like us to play between segments, please send them over.

• Guests are to be ready and available in YenYorkCity’s Discord (or Zoom call) waiting room at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before show time. If you do not see the channel (or have a link to the call), please reach out to LunaSoturi to get the role to access (or link). If you do not have Discord, we can help you create one if you like.

• Guests are required to have a camera to showcase themselves and their environment.

• Guests are required to provide clear audio.

• If Zoom is used, please be sure to have it downloaded and available. A room code and password will be messaged to you to join the room when ready, via email.

• Guests are to submit links to all related social pages for promotion through chat timers and commands. Links should be sent to the YenYorkCity Podcast chat room on Discord labeled #yyc-text, located above the Waiting Area, or emailed to YenYorkCity@gmail.com.

About the Podcast:

Podcasts are roughly a maximum of 2 hours long, broken into loosely guided sections.

• Once we start the broadcast, there is about a 5-minute music wait to give people an opportunity to join the stream. Currently, we encourage you to share on your socials to let everyone know the podcast has started. We will be promoting on our end as well.

• 15-20 minutes: Yen and Luna interact and warm up viewers with updates and information. You will be hidden and on mute.

• Yen will say, "Guest name, are you ready?" At this point, the guest will be unmuted to respond. We transition the guest in, and for performing musicians, immediately open with your first song. For non-performing musicians, skip to the next step.

• Section 1: "Get to Know the Guest" segment – 20 to 30 minutes.

• Performing musician guest plays the 2nd song to split the segments. For non-performing musicians, we will play a video at times, then move on to the next step.

• Section 2: Guest musical/business/content creation development – 30 to 45 minutes.

• For the last 15-30 minutes, subscribers and members (3 months+) and VIPs have an opportunity to join the call for 2 minutes to ask any questions or embellish on topics. After 30 minutes, the calls are closed for outside guests.

• Final Q&A and the "12 Songs (The Soundtrack of Your Life)" discussion. Be prepared or be put on the spot for the 12-song soundtrack of your life. This could be music that reminds you of an important time in your life, a wedding song, a song that impacted your playing, or music that resonates with your life lyrically or musically.

• Performing musician guest plays the last song to end the podcast.

 

The podcast is very casual and laid-back. We have questions prepared, but mostly it is built off the flow of conversation. You can curse and use adult humor, but please keep politics and religion talk to a minimum. We are not against drinking or smoking weed, but if you need to, we ask that you smoke weed before or after the show if possible. Please limit alcohol consumption to 2-3 beverages while live if you must drink. We can take a bathroom break if needed during the cast, but we ask that you take care of that before show time to avoid interruptions.

The live podcast is free to view but only YouTube subscribers and Twitch followers can chat. The live edited video will be available for free 1 week after the show ends on YouTube. should anyone miss the podcast live. The podcast is available to be viewed sooner with a twitch subscription**

Events, Challenges, and Redemptions:

Events, challenges, and redemption's are features added to provide a fun element to the cast by offering a more interactive opportunity for viewers. Podcast guests are welcome to join us during these times. Most of these are between Yen and Luna, and we ask the guest to encourage and apply hype and/or humor if possible. Challenges and redemption's may happen at random times if criteria are met.

Podcast Guest Incentives:

We have a few things we do for our guests to give back for your time with us and to keep you circulating throughout the year and beyond.

• Guests who stream on Twitch or YouTube and have emote slots will receive a custom emote made by LunaSoturi after the podcast has ended. The emote will initially be used during the podcast as a glimpse of what will be received.

• Guests will always have their commands available to be used in chat after the podcast ends. (Should any links change, please update us.)

• Guests' names will be circulating during the ending graphic and panels as a highlight for the year.

• VIP invites to future events.

• Podcasts will be updated on YouTube and audio podcast platforms like Spotify and iTunes.

• An opportunity to have a revisit.

Cancellation of Show:

• If you need to cancel your scheduled appearance on the show, you must do so at least 24-48 hours before the scheduled show date and time.

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing and sent to [provide specific contact details or email address].

• Failure to cancel within the specified time frame may result in the forfeiture of the opportunity to reschedule.
