Overview of the Show

YenYorkCity Live is a live interview-based podcast focused on musicians and creatives within the rock and metal space. Episodes run up to two hours and allow for in-depth discussion around career, creative development, and industry experience.

The show is streamed live and recorded before and after the broadcast for exclusive member content.

 

Appearance Format

Interview-only guests participate in discussion segments only. No live musical performance is required.

The focus is on:

• Your background and journey

• Creative or professional development

• Experiences within the music industry

• Current and upcoming projects

 

Media Submissions (Required)

If you would like us to play content during the show, please submit:

• Video clips

• Music videos

• Live performance footage

• Images or visuals related to your work

All content must be:

• High quality

• Cleared for broadcast

• Submitted in advance

• Rights to be used with no restrictions.

 

Pre-Show Arrival & Setup

Guests must be in the Zoom call 30–60 minutes before show time to allow for:

• Audio and video checks

• Show flow review

• Final confirmations

• If access is missing, contact us immediately.

• Clear microphone audio required

• Stable internet connection

• Zoom installed

 

 

In-Person vs Remote Interviews

Remote Interview

• Guest us responsible for their camera, mic, and internet

• Quiet, and well-lit environment recommended

 

In-Person Interview

Please submit:

• Address of interview location

• Access codes or instructions

• Parking or load-in details

• Any restrictions or requirements

This allows us to plan audio, video, and lighting accordingly.

This is a live Twitch & YouTube broadcast.
At times, alerts will sound, especially during raids, which are a normal part of Twitch culture.

Anything beyond standard alerts will be discussed during pre-show recordings.
